Gourmet Cafe

​I discovered the Gourmet Cafe on a quiet evening as the hostess was placing the menu board outside. The dining room was simple and unpretentious, giving off a pleasant, personal feel. The experience started with a warm welcome from the server, Mandy, who personally recommended a Pinot Grigio for my meal—a fantastic touch for someone exploring wine pairings. ​Mandy was equally impressive: wonderfully attentive, composed, and friendly. ​I ordered a half portion of the Penne alla vodka with chicken, which was generous enough to be a full meal. It arrived with perfectly toasted garlic bread and had a lovely aroma. The dish delivered on every level: the pasta had a great bite, the sauce was tangy (thanks to the sun-dried tomatoes) and creamy, and the chicken was incredibly tender. The owner's wine recommendation was spot on, as the Pinot Grigio enhanced the creaminess of the sauce beautifully. ​It was the kind of meal that makes you lean back in your seat to savor every bite. While a few stray flies were near my table by the door, it was a minor note in a delicious and pleasant experience. Learning it's a 'mom-and-pop' operation made perfect sense given the personal service and neighborhood feel. It’s a true gem.

In Glenn Falls only for the weekend. There are so many wonderful options of eateries. I was very happy with our choice to come to Gourmet Cafe. Sandwiches were beautiful and delicious. We got the seared salmon focaccia and the spinach portobello artichoke panini. Excellent choices. staff very nice and met all our needs. Highly recommend

Had walked by many times, we finally went in! On the way out the diners leaving told us GREAT FOOD here. He was correct! Many different menu items to select from and we were assured all of it, including the cold cuts and soups were made in house. And highly recommended the gluten free breads. Started with the tomato soup and a crab bisque. Amazing flavor and both were excellent. Had the Tarragon Turkey wrap. Side of red potato salad. Also excellent and very tasty. Mean Max IPA as the beverage. Nice selection of wine/beer. Our server was a rock star, Mandy! We chatted about all the menu items and plenty of other food discussions. She's a real foodie and so NICE! Will have to go back again! As all the others have mentioned. this is Gluten Free Heaven menu choices. Took the Pasta night menu so that's the next visit hopefully. LOOKS amazing.

Best food in Queensbury! Amazing cafe you have to visit. The atmosphere is great ! Nice positive welcoming music, all staff are positive, nice, super kind & so friendly people! They seem like they really love working there and like it’s a pleasure to serve you! Mandy is the best , she is very helpful and so kind! She gave us a birthday cake as a gift. And she recommended us a magnificent place for hiking. We ordered a vegetarian homemade burger, it was so tasty . A generous portions, well cooked ! Fantastic place with fantastic happy people ! Thank you so much Mandy, by the way, Shelving Rock Falls are beautiful. We loved it !

This is the best gluten free restaurant in area. They are great w food accommodations. Have separate menus. The pasta bowl night w a sangria or wine is very relaxing. The turkey apple gf panini is best thing I’ve eaten ever!!! I go almost monthly and the sweet waitress always remembers my order that and fries. Chef kiss . Been coming for about 8 years. The wait staff are my favorite. I feel like I’m eating with family there. 11/10

I am sharing a review of a Tiramisu cake I ordered as take out for Thanksgiving. Everyone at our dinner party agreed that it was the best Tiramisu they had ever tasted. It was a hit, and we all loved it. Thank you, Chef!

Service I thought was great - friendly, attentive and empty glasses were taken care of quickly. Food was decent. Had the grilled portabella, artichoke and spinach panini - for me, adding the special mayo made the sandwich much better. Also had the sweet potato fries - tasty but kind of mooshy.

While visiting my beautiful niece we had lunch at Gourmet Cafe. Top spot located in downtown Glens Falls. Very nice atmosphere, great menu and the friendliest wait-staff. I had the super BLT and the carrot cake for desert. We'll be back
